Beautiful

Imagine......waking up to this scenery, having those boats in front of you..that green grass all around you....the clear blue skies and the clouds....man am i lucky to have this :D

when i left sarteneja(picture) i felt so excited to go somewhere new, that time it was to Orange Walk. everything was going good and i didnt miss sarteneja. i felt like its jus sea whatever....6 years later now that im in belize city....and i go back to sarteneja like three times a year i can really appreciate what i left behind. i remember as a young girl i would be in the sea whole day! literally! as i woke up till my fingers got wrinkly or how we used to say "chuchul" lol me and my cousins or friends would wake up saturdays and take a dip then go eat lunch then go back. by the end of the day we were very tired and we would fall asleep. when you're a child it all seems fun and i guess we take it for granted that "it will always be there"

at 19 years old, i wish i could be there often. just this weekend i went for one day and i didnt even get to swim.that felt like sadness when i was driving back home. the sea was so pretty and clear and cool. the wind was sooo strong like hurricane winds lol so it was fun being there. jus enjoying the tropical pinch i got. i felt so fortunate to call it HOME. i realized i actually missed the place!

you dont realize what you've got till its gone..........well for me its not gone, im gone from it. but im always gonna keep going back! gonna take my family n show them this is where momma grew up! this is her lil piece of paradise.

Sarteneja is a lil village but trust me, memories can be made as you arrive... and that's not to mention the fun you'll having searching for fruits. well i know i loved going with my cousins and aunt to get plums and mangoes and oranges. you can even get bananas, that i could get behind my house that was my grandmother's hedge.well it still is. oh well... jus a lil trip down memory lane.... nice memories.....

This is how you'd end your day at Sarteneja!
